CHANGING LIVES ONE BICYCLE AT A TIME
2022 Bicycle Education Giving Campaign
Help WOBC launch one of Tennessee’s largest and most comprehensive bicycle programs, where education and free access to bicycles are combined!
WOBC is excited to bring on a bicycle educator thanks to funding from the Tennessee Highway Safety Office! This is a tremendous opportunity for WOBC to enhance service deliverables and make a huge stride towards achieving our vision of every child in the Chattanooga region having access to a bicycle. With this opportunity, WOBC plans to create one of Tennessee’s most comprehensive community bicycle programs where education and free access to bicycles are combined!
WOBC is seeking to raise $50,000 to launch its Bicycle Education Program, which includes hosting Bicycle Rodeos, Skilled & Guided Rides, Pop-up Bicycle Playgrounds, and Learn to Ride a Bike seminars, along with Health Fairs/ Speeches/ Presentations.
Phase 1 (Goal: $15,000)
Phase 1 of the fundraising campaign will help purchase bicycle education supplies, including: equipment for rodeos & bicycle playgrounds, parts and supplies for bicycle education fleet, racks and hooks for trailer, helmets, and bicycle repair tools.
